MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, the commercial vehicle division of MAN AG, started its automotive activities in the USA during 1978.
It was a joint venture with AM General to support 452 Articulated Buses.

During the 1980's, MAN built more than 2,500 buses in North Carolina for the U.S. market. Many of those buses are still in regular service today.

In 1990, MAN started to supply the first axles for transit buses to New Flyer Industries, a Canadian bus manufacturer and since that time, we have delivered several thousand axles to this company. Our axles are in service all across North America, from Alaska, through Canada, all the way south to Florida.

MAN Engines & Components is an active member of APTA, UMA and State Transit Associations.

MAN is in the unique position of designing, developing and building its axles to meet the high performance, quality and safety standards of its own buses and trucks before offering them to any other bus or truck manufacturer worldwide.

This is a guarantor to you as our Customer that the MAN axles are built to make a "perfect fit" for your Transit Buses.
They have been designed to meet the highest levels of performance and reliability at extremely low maintenance costs.
